A 2 day course designed to help you understand the cause of injury, and how to prevent problems from developing again. Most sports injuries are accumulative in nature, but what are the mechanisms that have contributed to the onset?
What biomechanical factors are involved and how can we assess these efficiently to best help our clients, eg what is the effect of a restricted ankle joint on the rest of the body?
A range of therapists, such as massage therapists, sports therapists, and pilates teachers are being consulted more and more by athletes and the recreational athlete. Now is the time to improve your understanding of assessment, prevention, and how to develop an effective treatment plan.
Do you want to learn in an environment where there are only 6 participants over the weekend - excellent 1:1 time for questions and supervision. |

Neuromuscular Reeducation is a 'stand-alone' hands on approach to the evaluation and functional treatment of 95+% of the soft tissue injuries a healthcare professional will see in practice.
Results are what patients are looking for and this technique will allow you to deliver in a most professional and satisfactory manner. It is a distinct and powerful addition to any person's armementarium if they are in the field of treating soft tissue injuries.
The course will cover arms, hands and fingers, groin, thighs, legs, feet and toes. It is precise and demanding work in that the muscles are markedly smaller in most cases and need very specific protocols applied accurately to a frequently limited area.
By using Neuromuscular Reeducation technique you will be able to offer rapid, lasting relief from the pain and loss of function caused by many of the most common sports and stress related injuries. |

Our course goal will be to share with you how normal day-to-day function is changed by interference with the fascial and connective tissue anatomy. By understanding how various systems interlink to determine function, we can explore new and integrated treatment strategies as a tool to relieve the post surgical and radiotherapy trauma following breast and head & neck surgery.
This workshop will be a good mix of practical and academic work, and the number of participants will therefore be limited. Suitable for Physiotherapists / Therapists working with breast and head & neck cancer patients, e.g. Oncology / Women’s Health, Primary Care and Musculoskeletal settings.

This course is a comprehensive practical training course, designed to show how the kinesiology taping method is used alongside other therapeutic interventions especially physiotherapy, osteopathy and sport.
Besides profound theory and presentation of scientific studies the course includes integrative and systemic therapy concepts from manual therapy, osteopathy and functional rehab training in combination with the tape.
The tape is perfectly combined with the revolutionary Anatomy Trains concept with many fascia techniques to regulate local and global fascia and muscle tension.
Finally, the fascia techniques according to our osteopathy concept and anatomy trains concept make the difference. One taping session brings immediate astonishing results. Some consecutive applications make it long lasting. |

Overview of the Programme
Level One:
The Level I programme allows the participants (PGA Professionals and Allied Heath staff) to explore the concept of the multi-disciplinary approach to improved technical performance in the golf swing. The integration of coaching, physical therapy, biomechanics and long term athletic development is the cornerstone of the programme. Participants are involved in lecture, small group, practical sessions and demonstrations of the latest concepts that underpin the acceleration in technique for all levels of golfers.
Learning Outcomes or Objectives:
Level One:
At the completion of the Seminar the Participants will:
1. Understand the basics of the golf swing – the common technical characteristics and the physical issues that underpin accelerating technical change
2. Understand the basic “corridors” described in 3D kinematic reporting and how they integrate with 2D video assessment
3. Understand the basics of Physical Assessment on the range and in the clinic that assist in highlighting the physical underpinnings for common technical characteristics seen in the golf swing
4. Experience & understand the latest training tools & exercise interventions that will assist golfers of all levels to provide long term player improvement both technically and physically

Coaching is a powerful approach to working with individuals and groups. It enables people to work towards what they want rather than what they don’t want. It is being fast recognised as the “missing link” in helping people to change health beliefs, raise self efficacy and develop sustainable plans. This day is aimed at independent practitioners who want to explore coaching and consider using it as part of their professional “tool kit”. It aims to provide some practical tools, hands-on practice and personal experience of coaching. It will show how coaching not only benefits our clients, but also supports our own personal and business development. |

Course Outline (CPD 7Hours)
Feedback, feedforward and ballistics are all important systems that form part of the spinal control mechanism. A greater understanding of spinal mechanics and the control systems can directly influence the success of your assessment and treatment outcomes. The course will begin with an overview of the spine reviewing the bone structure and spinal movement controls, including centers of rotation and muscle vectoral pull. Following the presentation of in-depth mechanical and neurological theory Bernard will then demonstrate the application of the knowledge with specific emphasis on numerical outcome measure assessment and patient empowerment.

This highly successful and unique course unlocks the secrets of STR and clearly illustrates the techniques involved through practical hands-on sessions combined with essential theory.
The course is structured as a weekend in which the basic technique will be covered focusing on 2 main body sections. This is followed by a 1 day session to allow for practice, to bring questions for consolidation and to cover the final body section. Places are limited to allow for interaction.
STR is a dynamic and versatile massage technique that provides fast and effective tissue change. It is designed to actively stretch localised muscles fibres, ensuring that a very specific number of myofibres are implicated on each release.
This course is designed to be a hands-on learning experience. Each day is structured around demonstrating STR on specific areas followed by facilitated practical sessions..

This is a multidisciplinary study adventure conducted over 7 days while cruising the Galapagos Islands on a small luxury vessel. During the cruise world renowned keynote speakers, Diane Lee and Linda-Joy (LJ) Lee will cover 10 hours of theory, leaving ample time to snorkel and walk amongst the spectacular wildlife and scenery of this unique part of the planet. Following the cruise a further 4 days will be spent in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Quito, when Diane and LJ will cover assessment and treatment techniques in 10 hours of practical.
We aim to gather a group of professionals interested in the role of the pelvis in recurrent groin and hamstring pain. The lectures will contain the latest scientific and clinical evidence pertaining to this topic and the practical workshop will cover the tests developed to determine when the pelvis is failing to transfer loads to the lower extremity. A focus will be differential diagnosis and how to determine when dysfunction in the pelvis, painful or not, is a key driver in hamstring and groin problems. We will ensure that you have all the clinical expertise necessary to take these tests and specific training protocols into your clinical practice. We are aiming to create a unique environment for discussion, exchange of ideas and networking as we learn from each other. We intend to make this an interactive, exciting and informative time for collaboration and reflection.
